Claire Hall is a professional glass artist working from her studio in Brockley, North Somerset. She originally trained as a sculptor working with wood and steel and has an Honours Degree in Fine Art and a PGCE in Art, Design & Technology, eventually transferring to glass after an inspirational time in the USA. Claire has used her artistic skills to become a successful educator within the glass field and is a regular masterclass teacher at Warm Glass UK and West Dean College. She has also taught extensively across Europe and most recently at Pittsburgh Glass Center. Her glass has been selected for prestigious exhibitions within the UK, including London Glassblowing, The National Glass Centre and The British Glass Biennale. In February 2020 her installation “In Search of a Peace” was purchased by the Imagine Museum in Florida for their permanent collection. Her love of the landscape is present in much of her work, from unique jewellery to installation and glass wall art.
