After gaining a degree in ceramics from UWE Bristol Bill has been a professional potter for over 25 years exhibiting and selling both nationally and internationally. His work has included delicate porcelain bowls, metallic glazes, salt firings and - one of his personal favourites - raku. He is now based in his studio at the Walled Garden in Wrington where he also offers classes and workshops as Clayability, the pottery school he founded in 2006. Having trained as a production thrower Bill loves teaching others to throw on the potter’s wheel. He also has a wealth of experience in handbuilding and decorating techniques.
