I started making pottery in 2019 after visiting North Somerset Arts Week. Seeing so many different artforms inspired me to take a class and I haven't looked back since! My work is mostly wheel-thrown. I enjoy smooth clean forms that provide a canvas for my glaze combinations. I am fascinated by the chemistry of glazes and love to create my own recipes and experiment with different colours and effects. I aim to reproduce some of the vibrant colours found in the natural world - from stunning sunsets to the Northern Lights. Each combination is rooted in a particular memory.
