Donations Box Design Competition Marketing and charitable opportunity North Somerset Arts need some help to raise valuable funds so we can continue to support artists in the region by providing opportunities to showcase their work. We would like to offer an artist the opportunity to design and donate a donations box in exchange for marketing. The donations box will be used at all future exhibitions to collect funds from the public. The chosen design will be displayed with details of the artist displayed with it. The winning artist will also get social media and brochure coverage by North Somerset Arts. If you are interested in this opportunity please submit a proposal for your donations box by 31st January 2017. North Somerset Arts committee will then review the proposals and notify the successful artist. The successful artist will need to produce the donations box before the start of Exhibition #65 on 11th April 2018.
Arts Council Funding The Arts Council recently held an arts review for the Bristol area because they are looking at investing £3m in the area. North Somerset Arts submitted a proposal of ideas to the Arts Council about how this money could support Bristol and the surrounding areas. If you are interested in reading the ideas we submitted the document is below.
New Committee Members and Trustees North Somerset Arts are looking for a new Committee Member or Trustee to join the team. We are keen to find someone with a background in marketing who can use their expertise to help support us in our efforts to promote our events and organisation. The post is voluntary and can be fitted in around other commitments. The Village Affordable Arts Fair November 2018 The Village Affordable Arts Fair will be held at the Memorial Hall, Silver Street, Wrington, BS40 5QL on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of November. Local exhibitors will be given a three month opportunity to make a booking at this event before it is open to the wider public so artists in Wrington, Redhill, Langford can book now.
