Pete Calcutt (PJC Woodcraft)
Having served in the army for 22 years I now spend my time working with wood. I treated myself to my first lathe almost 8 years ago and soon rediscovered my creative side. Wood carving was a hobby I had started over 40 years ago and I'm enjoying having time to do more of this along with experimenting with different woods and turning. I source my wood locally (from either North Somerset or Dorset) having good links with tree surgeons thus continuing to care for our environment. It's always sad when a tree has to come down but if something of beauty can be made from it then I'm happy. Please visit my Facebook page to view items currently for sale as well as previously sold items. You will see bowls, chopping boards of various sizes, resin filled pieces, pieces of art, benches, vases, coasters as well as other gift ideas. I'm happy to discuss comissions and look forward to seeing you.
