About the event

Take your use of Social Media to a new level.

ArtsMeet Saturday 7th March 1.30 - 3.30pm at The Folk Hall, Portishead

Are you looking for guidance to improve your social media following? Are you looking for ways to reach out to more people? Do you feel like you’re banging your head against the algorithms and getting nowhere? Are you seeking new ways to market what you create, whether it is your art or the workshops you offer?

If any of these strike a cord then come along to our next ArtsMeet.

We will be joined by Ruth Southorn a social media marketing coach. Ruth will talk about the importance of having a social media strategy and how to work the algorithms in relation to your strategy. She will demonstrate how you can get your message across and the practical do’s and don’ts of a successful social media profile. Ruth is going to be giving live demos, and is providing each attendee with a workbook for future use. There will be a Question and Answer session. At the end of the workshop you will leave feeling a lot more confident about what social media can do for you!

About your presenter:

Ruth Southorn is a social media marketing coach and trainer who runs her own consultancy and coaching business, Swallowtail Social. She supports small business owners who are spinning all the plates and aren't natural marketers, so that they're better able to market their ideas with clarity and confidence.

With a background in journalism and brand marketing, she specialises in breaking marketing down into simple, practical steps that feel approachable, achievable, and genuinely useful – especially for people who don’t feel comfortable putting 'themselves' out there. It's about spending less time on (and thinking about) social media, and spending it more productively when you do.

This is an opportunity too good to miss and it’s free to members. Spaces are limited so please RSVP confirming your attendance. Priority will be given to NSA members. Non-members £20.
