"David is a Portishead based Artist who paints large, vibrant Somerset landscapes and landmarks in oils. His lively depiction of colour, light and tone is evident in his layered compositions inspired by skies and water. A retired Secondary Art and Design Teacher, David specialised in Fine Art and Photography. David’s most recent work includes a series of semi-abstract paintings of the facets, tones and shapes of gemstones including diamonds, emeralds, amethysts and topaz. His artwork is also available as Giclee Prints in various sizes."
