I am practising professional artist and art tutor in and around North Somerset. I work in acrylics, watercolours, and mixed media. My interest is in landscapes predominantly and the communication of a sense of atmosphere. My style is loose and with limited information; I like to offer the idea of a place, inviting the imagination of the viewer to make their own interpretations. For me, what is left out is as important as what is included, and I love composition which includes empty spaces. I also love to paint portraits - both the furry type and the human type!
