June is an artist living in Backwell where she can enjoy her rural surroundings and often paints the local fields as seen from her garden. She also has a love of the sea and interprets her own thoughts and views of crashing waves against rocks or moody skies over the water in her own inimitable way. She has always wanted to paint but only found time for this when she retired and has spent the last 10 years developing her own style which can vary from representational to abstract. Her sea painting especially comes from within and allows her to follow her imagination. She splits her time between England and France where she and her husband Chris have a holiday home or up in her homeland of Scotland which she finds totally inspiring! She paints using mainly oils.
