Professional artist Rachael Cawley combines her love of tapestry and narrative into playful paintings embracing life in North Somerset. Her colourful images have an air of silence, a world observed from a solitary, often isolated viewpoint. Painting on board using acrylics allows Rachael to sand back through several layers to reveal the initial patterns that form the “tapestry” of both the location and the narrative.
