I am versatile artist who enjoys working in a number of different mediums as well as mixed media. My work includes free, expressive, colourful acrylic paintings that reflect my joyful approach to the process of art making. Inspired by the natural world, the Somerset countryside and the urban landscape, I also work in a range of dry mediums (pastels & coloured pencil are particular favourites) & in watercolour. Connecting my different approaches is the bold use of colour. I have a strong belief that the creative process is a vital means of self-expression for optimum well-being. I myself have found art to be massively therapeutic. To spread the message that creativity is for everyone, I hold creative workshops in my home studio.
